Internship

Nesian Point provide opportunities for University students to complete their internship with Nesian Point.  This is a great way for students to gain experience, learn the processes of therapy and facilitation work as well as contribute to growing therapeutic needs of the community.

Internship program includes

  • Supporting Nesian Point facilitator with the Wellbeing program for High School students

  • Learning the process of client referrals

  • Undertaking administrative processes needed to run a therapy clinic

  • Observing therapy sessions

  • Note taking for therapists

If you are a recent Masters graduate of Counselling or Social Work looking to get your supervised hours and training to become an accredited Psychotherapist, we want to hear from you.
